(MIND YOU I realize that when you type something in a Google search, it will appear in multiple places on social media later, but in the examples below the only place I typed these ideas were IN MY BRAIN and then they appeared.)

  • Listening to U2 song on radio, made me think of a friend…who loved the song Better Man by Pearl Jam (random train of thought I know…) literally turned the station at that moment to hear the song BETTER MAN PLAYING ON THE RADIO. This one really freaked me out. It was in an instant. And I never hear Better Man on the radio.
  • Waiting on a phone call from Roswell Park. Felt like I should check my email thinking they emailed me. Found email sent a few minutes earlier about the Ride for Roswell. (NOT the email I was expecting, but still, an email from Roswell and a sign that I should probably sign up to volunteer…)
  • Was thinking about how I REALLY NEED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT with my doctor and was still thinking in my head about how I want to switch back to the doctor I loved so much in the City. GOT LETTER IN MAIL YESTERDAY that the local doctor I started seeing earlier this year, that I actually liked…was leaving the practice.
  • Looking for a dress to wear to a friend’s wedding this weekend while browsing the Gwynnie Bee website. Found a beautiful one I really wanted, closeted it and thought out loud “I wish they had one with (enter specific flower she loves here)” and not even kidding, three dresses later in the new arrivals section A DRESS WITH THE SPECIFIC FLOWER SHE LOVES APPEARED. I put both in my online closet and hoped for the best and they sent the one with the flowers.
  • Considered signing up for Barkbox again for the puppies after I realized Harley is woefully low on stuffy toys for tug games. Log into email and there was a Barkbox advertisement with a free coupon code for an additional toy each month. I kid you not.
  • Been thinking about scheduling a lunch date next week with my friend Ellen and talk about her Flower Farm and how I can help promote her amazing work. Had an email about a florist recommendation in my messages, saw a blog post about her Flower Farm come through on Twitter and had a friend ask about her flower farm about her wedding. All within an hour.
  • Reading a post about Aunties. Was getting ready to post link on my Auntie Carroll’s Facebook page. Log into Facebook and first person on feed is Aunt Carroll who just posted about a Phil Collins concert
  • Went to Twitter to research a possible client who contacted me a LONG TIME AGO about social media services…10 minutes later, logged into email and found one of her newsletters sitting there waiting for me.
