Last night HWMMS and I took a walk around Weber Wonderland and looked at all the bushy flowery viney pumpkin, squash, gourd plants we have growing. So many flowers. So many wee baby fruits.

(This is one of three rows of pumpkins…)

I’m impatient!!! Will we get a bumper crop this year like a few years ago? Or will those flowers and fruits somehow disappear in the dead of night (LOOKING AT YOU BAMBI) like last year when we were filled with such hope and optimism and ended up empty handed? Only time will tell…

At work today I was talking about all of our possible pumpkins (because we were talking about planning a PUMPKIN PARTY) and I mentioned how my fingers and toes are crossed for an amazing crop this year.

While reminiscing about the good ol’ days I pulled up this photo from 2016 where we had so many multicoloured squashes. Ah, a rainbow of fun.

Tonight when I got home and logged in online, an advertisement for Modcloth came across my screen. Which if you know me, is not unusual at all I LOVE MODCLOTH. But this one particular dress was featured and I could hardly believe my eyes.

SYNCHRONICITY? (Or GOOGLE IS ALL KNOWING AND LISTENING.)

A MULTICOULORED SQUASH DRESS?  Need. Its exceptionally lovely and everything I never knew I needed in a dress until now.

But for the price. I need one of those 30% or 40% dresses coupons to make this leap. GOOGLE ARE YOU LISTENING?

Unless the amazing buyers at Gwynnie Bee decide to invest in this piece (pretty please?)

Or one of these days I convince HWMMS to start sewing all the pretty dresses for me.
